Waiting....

I saw Jim around 11:15am this morning. He was still in his room waiting to be taken to surgery. He has not eaten since dinner early last night so you can imagine how he's feeling right now. There were a lot of visitors in the room. They all introduced themselves, but I'll have a rough time listing who was there....nevertheless, the room was full of people....standing room only....rest assured in knowing that Jim is not facing surgery alone.

The family told me that Jim will probably be taken to the ICU after surgery. I'll check in on the family later today.

Please continue to pray for Jim and those that are caring for him. Today is the start of what may be a long journey.
