Things happened generally as scheduled today. Jim was transferred to the ICU after surgery. The rest of the family had already left by the time I was able to drop by a few minutes ago...so I don't know if the surgeon had anything to tell the family.
I did speak to one of the nurses who said that "he was able to answer my questions"....that's a good sign!
I did see Jim....he was responsive to my voice. I didn't engage him in any discussion other than just letting him know that I dropped by to check on him.
Sorry I don't have any more information than that. I'll post whatever information the family says is ok to post when I talk to them tomorrow.
Please continue to pray that Jim will continue to recover and progress along this journey.
